Y Us aims RM2m revenue for 2013

Y Us Sdn Bhd, a software development company, aims to achieve a revenue target of RM2 million next year following a strong surge in demand, both locally and abroad, for its innovative event management software known as “Evenesis”.

Chief Executive Officer Yusno Yunos said the four-fold growth in its projected revenue for 2013 was attributable to the success in penetrating the Asean region.

Due to overwhelming acceptance, Evenesis has now expanded into Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, he said, adding that the company was eyeing the Asia/Pacific and Gulf regions for potential business.

“The regional market is huge and this has inspired us to continuously develop new products to meet increasing demand.
“Currently, we are negotiating with several interested parties who are keen to become our business partners in their respective markets,” he said in a statement.

He noted that Y Us would continue to invest about 10 per cent of its annual revenue for research and development efforts.

Introduced in 2011, Evenesis offers comprehensive end-to-end features that covers event management processes such as event planning, scheduling, invitations, guest management, floor plan design and layout, seating arrangement, on-the-day check-in/registration, pre-and-post event surveys and venue management.

It is the first cloud-based software of its kind that caters to the needs of event planners, conference and exhibition organisers, corporations and small-and-medium-sized enterprises. Bernama

Y Us Aims For RM1 Million Turnover Via New Product

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 8 (Bernama)– Y Us Sdn Bhd, a new Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status company, is aiming for an annual turnover of RM1 million in its maiden year, for its innovative new product, Evenesis.

Chief executive officer Yusno Yunos said via Evenesis which offers optimal solutions for event management, conference and exhibition organisers, the company is also aiming to achieve an average annual turnover of 18 per cent for the next two years.

He said Evenesis was named winner of the MSC Malaysia APICTA Awards 2011, as the best application and infrastructure tool, and has been nominated to the list of Asia’s Top 50 Apps.

In a statement Tuesday, Yusno said the software is a pioneer in the event platform, which fully utilises and integrates the Augment Reality Technology as its core product.

The technology can increase the efficacy of all events, promotions and marketing efforts.

Yusno said Y Us Sdn Bhd, formed last year, had invested about RM200,000 for the Evenesis research and development at the Innovation Centre of Technology Park Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.

Apart from Evenesis, the company also provides other related services such as custom-made software and application development, integration and information technology consultancy.

Y Us sasar perolehan RM2 juta tahun depan

KUALA LUMPUR 26 Dis. – Y Us Sdn. Bhd. (Y Us), syarikat berstatus MSC, menyasarkan perolehan RM2 juta pada tahun depan berikutan permintaan yang meningkat bagi perisian pengurusan acara ciptaannya yang inovatif, Evenesis.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Y Us, Yusno Yunos berkata, syarikat meramalkan pertumbuhan empat kali ganda pada 2013 yang akan dicapai berasaskan kejayaannya menembusi pasaran ASEAN.

Katanya, syarikat di bawah naungan Pusat Inovasi dan Inkubasi Technology Park Malaysia itu berjaya membangunkan dan melancarkan perisian Evenesis yang memenangi anugerah industri Mesyuarat, Insentif, Konvensyen dan Acara (MICE) tempatan pada 2011.

Tambahnya, perisian berasaskan perkomputeran awan (cloud based) pertama dapat memenuhi keperluan perancang acara, penganjur persidangan dan pameran, syarikat korporat dan perusahaan kecil dan sederhana (PKS).

“Penerimaan pasaran tempatan amat memberangsangkan, dan pada masa yang sama, pasaran Evenesis telah diperluaskan ke Singapura, Indonesia, Filipina, Thailand dan Vietnam.

“Sejak diperkenalkan lewat tahun lepas, kami telah menerima maklum balas yang sangat positif daripada rakan kongsi perniagaan tempatan dan luar negara. Kami juga telah dapat menghasilkan perisian dalam bahasa Thai, Filipina dan Vietnam,” katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian dalam satu kenyataan di sini hari ini.

Menurutnya, Y Us telah berjaya menarik kira-kira 20 pelanggan korporat, 50 perusahaan kecil dan sederhana, dan 1,500 individu (yang dalam proses ujian web) dalam masa kurang dua tahun.
